Privacy

Last updated 5 November 2026

Swellotic has no accounts and doesn't know who you are. Your settings and music stay on your device. The website counts how it's used, without cookies and without identifying anyone.

Who makes Swellotic

Swellotic is made by Lloyd Evans, an independent developer in the UK. For any privacy question, email hello@swellotic.com.

What stays on your device

These never leave your device. Clearing the website's data in your browser, or deleting the iPhone app, removes them.

What the website counts

To learn which sounds and sessions people use, the website at swellotic.com sends three anonymous counts:

Each count includes your country. It doesn't include your IP address, a cookie or anything stored on your device, so counts can't be linked to you or to each other across visits. They go first to swellotic.com, which removes your IP address, then to PostHog, an analytics service, on its servers in the EU. We keep them to understand how Swellotic is used, which is our legitimate interest in improving it.

The iPhone app

The iPhone app sends no counts. It downloads Classical mix pieces and their list from swellotic.com, and nothing else. If you've agreed to share data with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple gives us anonymous totals, such as downloads and how often the app is opened.

Hosting

swellotic.com is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare handles your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from attacks, and may keep it briefly in its logs. Swellotic doesn't use those logs to identify anyone.

Your rights

Because Swellotic doesn't hold anything that identifies you, there's usually nothing for us to show you or delete. If you have a question or concern, email us. You can also contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If what Swellotic collects changes, this page will change first, with a new date at the top.
